4. Interface

In contrast with the inside, the interface could do with some improvement. Here is the community gate, the wooden fence not unpleasant, the metal one rather threatening? Unfortunately the planning of the Harmondsworth Moor doesn't give you a gate opposite this; instead you have to walk along a busy road and over a bridge to get in. Is this really necessary, or is it bad planning? Do planners not understand walking at all?
